Voice columnist is 'Above and Beyond'

Nicholas Duncan recognized by Pinnacle Health Systems


Nicholas Duncan, Central PA Pride Festival Vice President of Entertainment and Comics Columnist for The Central Voice, was recently recognized by UPMC Pinnacle, where he works, with their Above and Beyond Award.

The award acknowledges medical center employees who​​ go out of their way to provide service Above & Beyond expectations of our patients, their guests, and one another.

Duncan was born and raised in Carlisle, PA but has been residing in the Harrisburg area for over 20 years. He is blessed with a partner of 16+ years and their Chihuahua Corona Madalyn.  

For a number of years, Duncan has worked in the healthcare field and would love to be part of a genetic research team focused on extracting HIV from a person's DNA. He has been collecting comic books since the early age of seven.

Duncan’s Native American name is Sunny Stream, a person who is content and happy. His Pride bio says Duncan is “like a leaf that floats on the water, going wherever it may take him.”
