Thousands enjoyed 2019 York Equality Fest


York Equality Fest, Aug. 3 and 4, drew about 2,000 attendees to Penn Park. The event's lead organizer Carla Christopher said the festival represents “The York County I want to live in.”

The event is sponsored in partnership with Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center initiative. It featured an international food court, music, an interfaith blessing service, music, reading activities and theatrical presentations.
