History 'Comes Out': LGBTQ+ spaces and places


History Comes Out: LGBTQ+ Spaces and Places, the LGBT Center of Central PA's annual exhibit at the Dickinson College Archives, is on the lower level of the Waidner-Spahr Library, 333 W. High Street, Carlisle through December 13.

From the Stonewall Club in New York City to Stallions Bar in Harrisburg, the exhibit highlights historically important spaces for the area's LGBTQ+ communities. The exhibit features photos, programs, and artifacts from Central PA Pride gatherings, LGBTQ+ businesses and gathering places, spaces used for religious observances, and the evolution of the LGBT Center of Central PA.

Exhibit hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., college holidays excepted. Additional information available via email or 717-245-1399.
