One FAB Night, the LGBT Community Center of Central Pennsylvania's annual event to honor those who have made a significant impact in the life of the community will be held Sat., Sept. 30.

For a second year, FAB will be held at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, 300 N Street, Harrisburg.

The event celebrates the past year of LGBT life in Central Pennsylvania. Individuals and organizations that have a special impact will also be honored. The awards program is followed by a reception with entertainment, dancing, silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, and cash bar. Dress code is Queer Cocktail Attire.

FAB is a key source of funding for the LGBT Center of Central Pennsylvania.

Online registration is required and can be done by clicking on fall achievement benefit.

Reservations are $80/person for general admission and $150/person for a VIP level that includes champagne toast with honorees and one drink ticket.

Free parking is available in the Capitol Complex.

Central Voice is a longtime sponsor of FAB. Founding publisher and editor Frank Pizzoli is a past FAB award recipient.

The LGBT Community Center of Central Pennsylvania is a volunteer-led effort that strives to create a regionally representative community center that is both a location and a unifying point for central Pennsylvania's large, diverse, and multi-county LGBT population.

The mission of the center is to create a common ground for the LGBT community and allies in the region by providing services through educational, cultural, and community activities that foster wholeness. The center seeks to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment; provide and support comprehensive programs throughout the community, and embrace diversity, health and wellness.
